Reaching Machu Picchu on the Inca Trail
I hiked the Inca Trail with for three nights and four days through the mountains, and going in I honestly wasn't sure I could do it. There were moments on those trails where my legs were shaking and my lungs were burning and I genuinely didn't know if I had another step in me.
But I kept going. And somewhere in those mountains, I found something I didn't expect to find, my own courage. It changed me. Coming around that last bend and seeing Machu Picchu for the first time, after everything it took to get there, is a feeling I'll never forget. It wasn't just a destination, it was proof of what I'm capable of when I don't let doubt make the decision for me.
That trip is a big part of why I love this work. Travel isn't always about relaxing on a beach, sometimes it's about pushing past what you think your limit is and coming home a little different than when you left. Whether it's a challenging trek, a small ship exploring somewhere remote, or a river cruise through history, I want to help my clients find that kind of trip too, the kind that stays with you.
So... where are we going next! 🍑✈️
